The Toronto Consort - Early Music

The Toronto Consort is Canadas leading chamber ensemble specializing in the music of the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and early Baroque. Some of Canadas leading early music specialists have come together to form the Toronto Consort, whose members include both singers and instrumentalists (lute, recorder, guitar, flute, early keyboards and percussion). A premiere performance at Meaford Hall featuring The Da Vinci Codex  music from the time of Leonardo da Vinci. St George's Corn Roast

4th Annual Sail for Hope

Get out your calendars! The date for Sail for Hope has been set for Sunday August 24, noon-6pm at the Thornbury Harbour, hosted by the Thornbury Yacht Club and the Canadian Cancer Society. Please join us in an afternoon of cruising the waters of Georgian Bay with our TYC captains on their sailboats or power craft. Later in the day, courtesty of local sponsors, enjoy a scrumptious gourmet barbecue under the tent. It is a day filled with laughter and community spirit in support of a meaningful cause.

St Georges Oktoberfest

This extremely popular event promises to be a fun evening featuring traditional Bavarian fare, dancing and entertainment. Beer and wine will be available at a reasonably-priced cash bar. Tickets are available from Thornbury Pharmasave; Jessica's Book Nook, in Thornbury; the Crow's Nest in Collingwood; Stuff-to-Read in Meaford; and through St. George's Anglican Church. If desired, tables of 8 can be reserved. Oktoberfest is a fundraising event for the St. George's Anglican Church's capital fund.

Amnesty International's 11th Annual Cabaret
