Collingwood Events Collingwood Downtown Farmers' Market Every Saturday 8:30AM - 12:30PM The market operates each Saturday morning in the heart
of Collingwood’s historic downtown from the holiday weekend in May until
Thanksgiving Weekend. It is located in the municipal parking lot at the
corner of Second and Pine Streets and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
July 22nd thru July 25th 2010 The 16th Annual Collingwood Elvis Festival, the largest
of its kind in Canada, will take place Thursday, July 22 – Sunday, July
25, 2010. The Collingwood Elvis Festival features some of the greatest Elvis
tribute artists in the industry competing for the honor of participating
in The 2010 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, held during the annual
"Elvis Week" festivities in August at Graceland in Memphis, Tenn. It is
the official Elvis tribute artist contest, presented by Elvis Presley Enterprises,

Jul 1 2010 thru Aug 5 2010 Picnics and Performances, Thursday evenings, 7pm at the Nancy Island Historic site. The Schooner "Nancy" was a British supply vessel, and the only ship to survive the naval battle on Lake Erie which the British lost in 1812, but the Americans discovered the "Nancy" hidden away on the Nattawasaga River and subsequently sank her. The hull was salvaged in 1927 and today stands in front of the museum which tells the story of the War of 1812 and the three hundred years of navigation on Lake Superior.
