What's NEW at
Blue?
New novice chair lift.
The historic Big Baby triple chair has retired to make way for a new
four-person chair. Novices will enjoy fewer stops and more uphill
capacity. And removing lift towers means improved ski terrain and
access to Mary Jane’s Lane.
More snowmaking.
Forty new high-temperature snowmaking guns increase snowmaking
capability and allow us to open the slopes for you as early in the
season as possible.
More grooming.
We’ve added a new BR 350 grooming vehicle to our fleet to make
conditions better than ever.
Now Blue Mountain has over 700 accommodation suites to choose from!
Blue Mountain is Ontario's Largest Mountain Resort.
In the heart of the Georgian Triangle, nestled between the shores of
Georgian Bay and the heights of the Niagara Escarpment, sits
Ontario’s premiere four-season playground, Blue Mountain Resort.
Known for years as the province’s top ski and snowboard destination,
Blue Mountain features a vertical of 720 feet, or 220 metres, with
34 trails ranging from beginner slopes to double black diamond
steeps.
Lift Tickets
34 trails from beginner to
do-you-dare?
Blue Mountain stretches across the Niagara Escarpment with 720
vertical feet, 13 lifts, and 34 trails ranging from beginner to
double black diamond. You’ll enjoy plenty of on-snow time, with four
high-speed six-person lifts across the resort. If you prefer to hit
the hills after the sun sets, we have you covered with 22 trails and
10 lifts under the lights.

| Whether
it's snowboarding, freeskiing or just hanging out with friends, Badlands
Terrain Park is your home base! Did you know that SKIER (Snowboard
Canada's freeski publication) Magazine listed Blue Mountain's BADLANDS
TERRAIN PARK as a "Beast of the East" and that Freeskier Magazine named
Badlands the 8th Best Terrain Park in Eastern North America?
Badlands Terrain Park boasts not one but
TWO SUPERPIPES and is serviced by its own chairlift which operates 7
days a week. We are also home to some of the east coasts BEST rails. New
additions to the park this year include the monster rails from last
years Coors Light Triple Challenge Pro Rail Jam - a giant white high
bar, a huge 35 foot flat box and a massive swing set that has been
dubbed EXPO.
These are just 3 of the many rails that
you can find in Badlands. Last winter, Blue's selection of HUGE booters
brought some of Whistler best park riders out to check out what the hype
was all about. A 70 foot Big Air jump was the biggest hit Blue Mountain
had ever seen and helped make the Big Air competition of the Coors Light
Triple Challenge an unbelievable success!
If you’re new to the terrain park,
never fear – Blue is putting an emphasis on learning and progression!
With two additional freestyle terrains, Greatest Hits and Hell’s Half
Acre, Blue Mountain is the ideal place to learn. Small jumps and
ride-on/ride-off rails will be featured in the Greatest Hits Terrain
Park on the south end of the mountain.
There is always something happening at
Blue. Check out the You look Good Tour and the Volcom Peanut Butter and
Rail Jam Tour which both makes stops at Blue this winter, and as always
the Coors Light
Triple Challenge will rock in March with three days of intense
competition, concerts and parties! For a complete listing of the events
and competitions planned in Badlands this season check out the events page

Mountain ski patrol is the largest patrol in Ontario and is made up of
200 people who come together to provide first aid and rescue services
for the ski resort. We are volunteers and paid patrollers working
throughout the season from the opening run to the last in the evening to
ensure the safety of our guests.
Every patroller is trained in first aid and CPR and undergoes on-hill
training in areas such as lift evacuation, toboggan training and
accident site management. In addition to the training that all
patrollers must take, we provide more advanced training ranging from
oxygen therapy to more advanced life saving techniques. This training
ensures that everyone has the tools to deal with any situation that may
arise on the hill and offers our guests the comfort in knowing they will
receive nothing but the highest level of care.
Training usually begins in early September for new patrollers and
continues throughout the season for everyone Blue Mountain is located
just outside of Collingwood, Ontario and boasts the most skiing terrain
in Ontario. |
